Clairol Root Touch Up

I'm wondering if any of you have used the Clairol mid brown root touch for permanent grey coverage? How dark is the dye?

If you use this between salon visits for a "full hair dye" can hairdressers dye over it?

Just wondering how it works. Thanks

Sorry, not much help as I've only used the blonde one but I've tried all the blonde shades - very light, light, mid, dark - and all of them have worked without showing a discernable difference to my natural colour. Somehow the colours seem to blend well without looking noticeable, if that's what you're worried about. (I don't leave it on for as long as they say, about 5 minutes, but it might be different with dark hair).
