Mascara that won't budge

Mascara always ends up in black smudges under my eyes be it through rain, rubbing my eyes or crying at a film. I don't a made up look, just a mascara that stays put. I'm not really bothered about price, I'd just like something that doesn't look awful in the loo mirror half way through the night. Thanks.

You need a tubing mascara. The elf XTEND one is amazing and less than a tenner.

Everything0Everywhere · 25/10/2024 23:03

Definitely tubing mascara. (So much easier to remove too)
Lash Idôle by Lancôme is great

ThePoshUns · 25/10/2024 23:04

Clinique lash power, another tubing one. Best one I've found

Yes- tubing here too, stay perfect by no7, stayed put through busy retail shifts!

I second this...awesome stuff

BookishType · 25/10/2024 23:09

Tubing!

Lash Slick by Glossier. I buy it again and again. I have bought it as a gift for friends so many times, I should get it free.

I love this as well, I was using the No7 one but then tried Clinique and haven't gone back!

Campingandwine · 25/10/2024 23:11

Another vote for stayperfect by No.7

What is ‘tubing’ mascara?

What is ‘tubing’ mascara?

As the name suggests, it creates “tubes” around your lashes which don’t come off until you want them to.

ItTook9Years · 25/10/2024 23:46

ThePoshUns · 25/10/2024 23:04

It’s good, but I find the elf one an almost identical dupe.

Livinginaclock · 25/10/2024 23:47

Blinc

It's a tubing one

Idontjetwashthefucker · 26/10/2024 08:45

EL double wear tubing is brilliant, my lashes look long and full and they stay soft...washes off with warm water too

squishyarms · 26/10/2024 08:49

Came on to say tubing mascara. Specifically this one which is about £8!

Maybelline skyline is also a tubing mascara. I am an Estée Lauder absolute devotee for skincare but I don’t see a difference between the maybelline mascara and the EL double wear one save for the EL one being nearly three times the price. And I can get the maybelline one in brown. Boots were doing 3 for 2 on lots of that kind of prices make up recently, I don’t know if the offer is still on.

ItTook9Years · 26/10/2024 14:50

If you’re a Nestle boycotter (and I’ve no idea what everyone isn’t) Maybelline, L’Oréal and Lancôme are all Nestle owned.

MrsForgetalot · 26/10/2024 14:55

Tubing mascara is amazing. Washes off in the shower and is a more than a bit freaky looking if you fall asleep and forget to take your make up off (let’s not dwell on how I found that out 😂)
But it does not budge!

Mumwithbaggage · 26/10/2024 23:55

Thank you - another day of panda eyes so off to buy a new tubing mascara on Monday!

Eyeko Beach Waterproof. Almost too good as hard to remove

Dunk19 · 30/10/2024 23:06

Thanks for the elf recommendation, I wore it for the first time today and not one black smudge! I usually get a big streak under my eyebrows.
