Bootleg jeans

I had a pair of bootleg jeans 30 years ago when I was in my early 20s, I tried a pair on in M&S today and loved them! Wish I'd bought them now, might order them, but are they in fashion?!
Someone will probably say does it matter.... if you love them buy them, which I think I might, but still wondering if they're "in".
I know wide leg is in just now and I'm ok with wide leg trousers but wide leg denim is just too much fabric and makes me look like a wide load!

I also wore bootlegs when I was younger and loved them, they’re very flattering for my leg shape.

i bought some from M&S (Eva) and I LOVE them. They are comfy and flattering and I’m reliving my youth.

ps I don’t care if they are or are not fashionable, I’m a bit boho anyway.

@TerfTalking it was the Eva ones I tried on, they looked so flattering! I'm away to "add to basket"!

I like my wide legs with trainers but they look awful with boots. I am now wearing my boot legs and second the Eva recommendation above. I think they are very flattering.

Bootlegs are fine, I like the Eva, they fit so well. Buy them!

I also got the Eva jeans and I wear them with brown suede heeled pointed boots I really love them!

I have worn bootlegs for the last 30 years as that is all I can wear as I am only 5 foot.
