Stylish WFH clothes

I'm looking for some warm, comfy WFH clothes but that are still stylish that don't make me feel like Waynetta Slob!! I still want to feel stylish but warm as it's cold in the house during the day and I refuse to put the heating on yet 😂

I'm still trying to navigate between feeling comfy, looking smart enough for Teams calls, and not needing to get changed if I want to pop out in my lunch hour. If such an outfit exists I haven't found it yet. I still end up getting changed if I need to go out.

This is me completely. I end up getting changed about 3 times a day, either because I need to look smart enough to go out, or because I want to wrap up for a walk. Anything that’s comfy/smart enough for wfh doesn’t work for the other scenarios!

I don't know how people can be arsed to wear wool and cashmere when WFH. Do you spend all your weekends hand washing stuff??

I reserve those items for out of the house only. When WFH I want stuff that is easycare (i.e. stuff that I can throw in the washing machine). Stuff like sweatshirts and fleeces but nice, good quality ones.

I wash all my cashmere on the delicates wash In my machine. It’s a 30min cycle. No effort at all.

Same for merino. It’s no different to washing bras, which I put in the machine on a delicate cycle.

Primark thermal leggings, black top when I'm on camera, massive jumper on over the top when I'm not.

I have started wearing jeans though because they help me diet. I was getting too comfy and expandable in joggers/leggings and putting on weight without realizing. Jeans make me very aware when I've put on an inch!

During lock down I bought a couple of really nice lounge wear sets. (Aka day time pajamas). I also bought a really nice and thick long black cardigan (day dressing gown!)

on work calls I just looked like I was wearing a jumper and cardigan.

thick socks and slippers always keep you warmer too!

Uniglo V neck jumpers in every colour here Grin look smart, warm and machine washable.

I wear with pleather joggers and funky trainers.

I am on the same holy grail trail and I don't even WFH. I don't want to change into pyjamas when I get in. I want something stylish but comfortable. But what?
