I think Leti was implicated in one of the financial scandals that involved the Spanish RF? But these comments were long before that.

Camilla looks wonderful in that blue outfit. I like the way she has her 'tried and tested' dresses in familiar shapes and colours and then every so often we see something different that almost always suits her perfectly. The Dior dress that she wore in Paris with the fabulous jewellery was another example.

Princess Elizabeth looks great and I love Leti's dramatic dress. Ticks all round. 😊

It's almost laughable now but I can well imagine the 'how terrible' comments.

As far as I can tell the 'Royal Ladies' do a very good job of representing their own monarchies both at home and overseas - I would put Camilla, Leti, Kate, Sophie, Mary all in that category. I think they've all had some pretty nasty comments from the media over the years and had to get on with the 'day job'.

Don't worry mine too. I have to double check every time a 'naughties' film, TV series, song, event etc is said to be 20 because that just doesn't compute. I'm not sure where the last 20 years went but they seem to have snuck past while I was looking the other way.

Spanish shops have some beautiful clothes, well cut and lovely colours and I've succumbed in the past....but, they don't look good under coats or jackets so are pretty hopeless in the UK!

Spanish people are often very stylish. They make an effort.

A friend used to wear Desigual coats which I loved.

There was a fabulous shop in Alicante and one in the airport. I probably still have a couple of tops lurking in the bag of my wardrobe

My friend had an embroidered black coat like this but I recall detail on the cuffs and collar. I yearned for one, but the sizes were small, no good for big busted me.

That photo reminds me of the saying "find someone who looks at you the way x looks at y" - in this case, the way Charles looks at Camilla. Very lovely. Tina Brown describes him in the Palace Papers as someone who has become an unapologetically happy man, and I feel that's completely right.

Leti is not good at the country look. Rather like Diana wasn't.

We will likely soon get a Very County look from Mary in early November as she will attend the Hubertus Hunt on the 3rd.
