Tiffany necklace chain

Please does anyone know where to get a silver chain that is thicker than the Tiffany chain as mine is very thin and I’m worried it’ll break , so looking to buy a standard silver chain which is also 18” but thicker . Just wondering if anyone has replaced the chain with non branded chain and it held up well etc thank you

I replaced a flimsy silver chain off a pendant with a sterling silver Philip Jones chain, off Amazon iirc. It’s lasted over a year so far with no issues, and is far more robust than the delicate chain the pendant came with.

I've put my Tiffany heart lock pendant on a thick Pandora chain and it looks lovely.

I've not had a problem with the fine chain and it does depend on the manufacture, closure, more than just the size of the chain. I have more of a problem with some chain designs that catch the fine hairs on the back of my neck!! Any decent jeweller will have silver chains, plus probably a very good selection of second hand too.
