What's your favourite 'every day' perfume

I love Dior Addict (dark blue bottle), but don't think many people have heard of it

It's gorgeous on me and anyone I've ever smelt it on, but to me it's an evening/going out type of perfume

What's your favourite perfume to wear every day?

I absolutely love Molecule something something, but I am confused because people say you're not suppose to smell it on yourself. Yet I can? Sprayed some on DS and DD Grin smells the same on them as it does on me?

I'm looking for something lighter for every day use than Dior Addict

My mum use to wear D&G Light Blue. It's lovely but just reminds me of her and doesn't feel like 'mine'

I like clean light scents for everyday. Currently using a lavender

StickSeason · 21/10/2024 00:12

To The Fairest do some beautiful perfumes - I'm a bit of a fragrance hoarder but I'll happily wear theirs every day.
Also love CK One, Clarins Eau Dynamiste and Prada Iris

vdbfamily · 21/10/2024 00:16

I wear either Beautiful or 212.

Devilsmommy · 21/10/2024 00:27

I love Hugo Boss Deep Red

username3678 · 21/10/2024 00:27

My Way - Giorgio Armani is divine

The Only One 2 - Dolce & Gabbana is stunning

Perfect - Marc Jacob’s

These are my 3 current favourites. MY WAY, is my scent at the minute. Get a tester if you haven’t come across it. There’s sooooo many to choose from. Great topic !

Can I ask where's the best place to go to sniff some of these lovely suggestions? What shop would have the biggest range?

Thank you Smile

Get some discovery boxes. The Perfume Society has a couple of good ones at the moment.

It has been JSL Opium for years, but I don’t tend to feel like wearing it these days, so I’ve just signed-up to Scentaddict. This way I can try a new one each month for a while.

Are you in the UK ?

If you are, Boots is always good, if you drop on a friendly assistant they usually give you a few miniatures to try too when the new ones get released. Perfect timing coming up to Christmas ;)

YSL Libra is nice too, quite sexy but not too much - that’s my next purchase

likeitallagain · 21/10/2024 00:46

I'm in England but my local Boots has all perfumes behind a locked casing! Don't think I've seen samples

Yeah city or town centre ones have gone this way. Bolting the testers down too so they don’t get nicked - sad.

A few “big” Next stores now have a beauty department in with all perfumes - you might be best going to a shopping centre when you’re next going out looking.

Seen things like this online. I’ve always gone for the original in shop designer perfumes - and they are expensive !! But I feel it’s a treat.

Just had a look at this site and prices are appealing, so they aren’t replicating anything just a whole new sent without the designer price tag. Looks a good idea ! Thanks for sharing

Light Blue is my go to, but if you like that you may like Inis (more unisex, but fresh), or try Clinique Happy.

I tend to go citrusy for daytime, musky for evening.

Edit to add- Clarins Eau de Jardin is my ultimate fave.

Oh I love Inis too!! Makes me feel like I’m squeaky clean straight out of the shower.

RosesAndHellebores · 21/10/2024 01:48

Harrods, John Lewis, Harvey Nicks, all have plenty of perfumes. Most good department stores.

Gucci Guilty for me atm

Also like Miss Dior Blooming bouquet
Estee Modern Muse

Omg yes, that’s how I feel too! Need to get myself the body lotion so I can layer the scent I think.
