Umbrellas?

I need a new umbrella. Want a small one (not a full sized massive golf umbrella/walking stick length one). Would ideally love a wooden hook handle but willing to forego that if needed.

Has to be sturdy because I can't be doing with a bit of wind and rain snapping the metal bits as has happened with all my other cheap ones.

My Roka rainbow one is brilliant. Automatic opening and closing, seems quite strong, folds pretty small.

Ive been looking at Umbrellas lately after the Totes one I had went to tits.

Blunt - they look cool
Repel - cheaper but many good reviews
Davek - more expensive.. but.. guaranteed for life.

I am no real help, but there's some brands to Google. 😁

I saw the davek! Not sure I can justify £115 on an umbrella 😞

I've just bought this one and it's lovely. A lot nicer & bigger than expected fhwt.app.link/9ih3Gf2INNb

I used to buy fabulous umbrellas that cost about the same as a pair of Russell & Bromley shoes. I didn't admit the insanity of this until I'd lost five of them 😬

Now I get compact ones with a vent to let the wind through (resists storm inversion). I still fall for umbrella cuteness now and again, and always regret it. The other sane alternative is to buy those collapsible ones they sell everywhere for about a fiver and just replace them when lost or broken.

Windproof (BOGOF atm, nice colours)

Cute and small (not windproof)
