Comfy high heels

I almost never wear heels but I want some black ones for work too wear with trousers or a dress - comfortable and easy to walk in but nice looking and will last. Happy to spend £150ish + if really necessary (obviously less is better!)

I've found that some M&S's shoes have a fairly cushioned base. A good few years ago i had a pair of really high black patent courts from there that looked agony but were actually really squishy under the ball of the foot and were fine!

Some of the more pricey brands like Carvella and Russel and Bromley used to have 'comfort' ranges iirc.

You can buy squishy innersoles. Go up a half size to cater for it.

Are any of the nice fashionable ones at all comfy? Or I need to go with a comfy specific line/brand?
