Lululemon on Vinted

Constantquandries · 17/10/2024 08:14

my teen DD is desperate for a Lululemon Define jacket for Xmas, but the price is a bit steep for me.
ive had a look on Vinted and there are loads BNWT for @ £67. Has anyone purchased one of these? I’m guessing they must be fake at that price but thought I’d see if anyone has purchased one and if it’s worth the risk.
otherwise I will have to get saving!
Thank you

I only buy things on Vinted for a price that I’m willing to write off if they’re not as good as they look online.
They may be genuine but it’s still an expensive mistake if not.

My thoughts exactly Candelabra! I’m a great fan of Vinted and if I buy something I don’t like I will resell. However if I ordered these and they were fake I wouldn’t be comfortable to resell so that would be a lot of money down the drain.

I wouldn't risk it personally
If it helps, they accept PayPal and you can split the cost over 3 payments.
I've bought lots this way for Christmas this year

Me! I bought one for my teen god daughter from vinted. I’ve got a lot of LL myself and I’m pretty sure the jacket I received was genuine. I made sure to buy from a seller with plenty of 5 star reviews btw.

Yep, me too and it's about 20 quid for me.

Only once I risked a bag at £60 but there were LOADS of photos, she had tons of good reviews and it was perfect.

Flannels are advertising them for £88

TokyoSushi · 20/10/2024 12:40

I would only consider it if the seller had a LOT of good reviews and was selling other items, if they've no/few reviews and are selling just that, absolutely no!

TokyoSushi · 20/10/2024 12:42

Definitely not those XS ones for £67.70 but some others look legit, if you can get one for £88 from Flannels then probably not worth the hassle of Vinted.

EBay UK has Lululemons, some second hand good conditions about £40.

I second eBay. £30 upwards depending on what one. They've got good buyer protection. I've used it before. I'd be confident in getting my money back if goods were fake or damaged. Just look at the ads very carefully and read the description properly.
