What to wear for work?

I seem to have lost my way when choosing what to wear for work these days so any advice would be greatly received :-) I work in an office for a tree surgery business so its pretty casual and a little dusty at times. I have generally been wearing jeans, jumper and boots but would like to look a little smarter sometimes. My manager is looking to get branded sweatshirts and polo shirts for everyone in the office (in black) but I just wondered how I could possibly make this look a little smarter?

Agree with wearing a belt and there are lots of really nice jumpers that have a detail like a zip at the neck or buttons down one shoulder or a fitted jumper with little buttons on the cuff.
you can also wear smarter jeans in a darker colour or even get some in a different style like slightly cropped and wear with a higher rise on the ankle of the boot.

You could also mess with the dimensions so high waisted jeans with top tucked in and belt. Or lower jeans with a front tuck of the jumper or top and belt.

also jewellery. I wear a silver necklace which is pretty much choker length with a little pendant - it’s really tiny but you can see it with pretty much any top and (I think) it looks nice.

have you thought about a smart jersey blazer or fitted cardigan? Oh also a waistcoat buttoned over tops looks quite smart.
