End of March wedding guest outfit, buy now or later?

As per the title really, I'm looking forward to an end of March wedding at a venue (not church), I can't decide whether to buy something now which is lovely and wintery in a jewel colour or if that's going to be too wintery by then and I should hold off and buy something more spring like next year?

I'm trying to avoid the temptation to buy two outfits "just in case"!

If you see something you think you’ll be excited to wear next Spring then get it. (Particularly if already reduced in the sales - if that matters to you.)

If you’re concerned about its not being seasonal, or the height of fashion, by then, you could hold off buying accessories until next year, so you’ll still look current.

(I’m inclined to buy really special things when I see them - without a specific event in mind - so I’ll have something ready when needed. Desperate last minute scrambling takes all the pleasure out of dressing for me.)

Thanks, that's all good advice and I equally dislike the last minute panic of needing an outfit! I much prefer to have something for every occasion.

I think I'll keep an eye out for winter outfits and especially sale items, I'm happy to pay full price but I do like a bargain! I don't have a nice wintery outfit so I guess it would be a good buy even if I don't wear it to the wedding? 🤔
