Heat protector

I have long fine hair although lots of it. I am looking for a heat protector that will protect my hair from daily hair dying and straightening but not weigh my hair down.

I use JVN serum on it and then a heat protector. Have tried so many. They often weigh my hair down. I am using a GHD spray at the moment which is a good heat protector and is lightweight but it dulls the shine on my hair.

Do you have a heat protector you would recommend for fine hair that works well for you? Thank you.

I really rate the Percy and Reed volumising no oil oil. Sounds counterproductive for fine hair but I find it does add volume and body without being.greasy. it also adds a lovely.ahine and you only need a small amount

Colour Wow dream coat is like a magic potion

Kerastase thermique is the one I use. My hair is very fine and thin and it's the only heat protectant that doesn't weigh my hair down, my hair hates the GHD spray, in fact, any spray.

My routine is PK Elasticizer, olaplex purple shampoo, kerastase resistance conditioner. Then towel dry and colourwow dream coat, olaplex no7 bonding oil and then kerastase resistance thermique for styling.

I sometimes use PK volumiser spray for a root boost, and PK dry shampoo spray in between washes on the roots to keep it fresh.

John Frieda luminous glaze treatment is a glossing treatment that adds great shine, and Bed Head TIGI Headrush Shine Spray is very lightweight and adds even shine.

Thank you for your suggestions. Some things to try there. I shall probably start with the Kerastase, I remember using it in the past and liking it.

Interested in why people rate the colour wow dream coat. I have some (not sure I realised it was a heat protectant) but haven't really used it as I didn't notice it doing anything. Sounds like I am missing something!
