Fancy pants moisturiser

Hi, do you use a fancy pants moisturiser?
I'm talking Chanel Sublimage, Augustus Bader and their ilk.

Do you like it? I want to treat myself to something I can use daily.

I do not! I’ve had so many minis of the Augustinus Bader ones but they are so greasy and thick and heavy I use them on my knees and legs!
I’m very basic when it comes to moisturiser, kiehls ultra bland I think it’s called 😂
it’s the serums/acids etc where I push the boat out.

Is it fancy? I'm afraid the only fancy moisturiser I've ever used was a tiny jar of charlotte tilbury magic cream.

Well it's stupidly expensive imo. But I keep going back to it

I like..
How it feels on my skin (but haven't fallen for any claims it does more than a cheaper one)
The smell
The pots being refillable.

I do buy offers and get loyalty freebies (I like EL makeup too).

It's really my only indulgence

Which one do you use?

There I was thinking my Kate Somerville stuff was expensive, the goat milk one is light but effective!

I use Revitalizing Supreme.. the day and night ones.

They do last a long time though.. you only need a v small amount. Far less than cheaper ones I've tried

If you live anywhere near a Space NK go and try some and they will give you samples to see what works for you. I find some of the heavier, smellier ones make be break out in spots so it has taken a bit of searching for a good daily option.

I don’t know if it counts as fancy but I adore the Bobbi Brown vitamin enriched face base. It smells divine, sinks in easily, leaves my skin hydrated and is an excellent base for makeup. Though I’ve recently discovered the Aldi dupe and have been seriously impressed with how close to the BB version it is!

A number of years ago I won a very expensive moisturiser, retailing at £70 at the time. It was nice but I wouldn't say it was 10 times as good as my usual one.

Temple Spa Skin Truffle for me (contains champagne, diamonds and gold peptides) it's absolutely the best face cream I've ever used.
