A practical coat, help needed

Sorry, this probably comes up regularly at this time of year. I work in an office but sometimes have to walk to other sites.

I need a warm, waterproof winter coat, preferably knee length and preferably with a hood, that looks vaguely stylish. There are plenty of puffy, padded coats out there and plenty of raincoats, but I need something that does both.

I am prepared to spend money on a coat that is going to last a few years.

Any suggestions?

Seasalt Janelle?

I would look at Aigle or Elvine.

I have an Elvine puffer. It is definitely warm and waterproof! They have a range of warmth and waterproof ratings. Rains also do waterproof puffers.

Next have a shower proof trench with a hood, comes in beige or black.

I’ve got a Stutterheim, not sure if it meets the style criteria but it’s excellent quality

Burberry has reinvented itself this season and so I will look there for a suitable coat. They do puffers and duffle coats with hoods.

I have a Barbour Bowlees in red, I wouldn't call it stylish though
