Trainer brands with soles that last?

I've been wearing Skechers Uno since January, but the soles have pretty much gone smooth and worn out. They've withstood a lot of miles over the months TBF but I did expect at least a year.

Anyone recommend a brand that have tougher soles that stand up to an hour or two walking a day?

DP had the same issue with his sketchers, I think anything as long as they’re not sketchers. He has multiple pairs of adidas that don’t have this problem so it’s not him.

I've never owned a pair of Adidas tbh so I'll have a nose. .something to give the illusion of a shorter foot would be good.
