I don't understand this new eyeliner I've got
How do I get more out of it ? It doesn't twist up.
Am I just a bit thick?

Pencil sharpener

Laurensorrenson · 11/10/2024 12:21

But it's plastic, and thinner than a pencil

KimFan · 11/10/2024 12:37

You sharpen them.

Laurensorrenson · 11/10/2024 13:50

Ffs I didn't realise I'd have to buy a specialist bit of equipment to use an eyeliner. I will send it back

whats specialist about an eyeliner sharpener ?

MuffinDadoCappuccino · 11/10/2024 14:07

Although it doesn’t look or feel exactly like a pencil, it works in the same way. Like the PPs said, you can use a normal eyeliner sharpener with it.

KimFan · 11/10/2024 14:52

You LITERALLY use a normal sharpener! I use this brand as my regular eyeliner and it's just a normal sharpener that you need.

Well I don't have one, I'd have to buy one. Other gel eyeliners I've Had twisted up from the bottom, this Avon one even has a thing on the end that looks like it should do that. I don't want to buy a specialist sharpener. Hth.

What with?

TylerEndicott · 11/10/2024 22:06

Can you pull the end off? Some brands have a built-in sharpener at the blunt end, looks like a circular thin piece of plastic with a wedge cut out.

BloodOfTheRaven · 12/10/2024 00:19

You've never had a eyeliner or brow pencil or lip liner that needed sharpening?

Does it pull out? Sometimes they have a sharpener built in

I don’t think it does anything…

Doubt you’d get a refund just because you don’t want to buy a sharpener lol
