Leggings and boots?

Is this a hideously frumpy idea?

What kind of boots?
leggings are frumpy by nature, if you're wearing a skirt then tights look much better but leggings are warm and that's more important than style when it's cold.

I wear leggings with chunky biker boots and an above the knee jumper dress. Not frumpy at all.

Sadly my perfectly good, hardly worn boots are Frump Central. Wondering if I could invigorate them with interesting socks?

The boots are probably fine. It’s leggings that spoil a look.

Sell them and buy some non frumpy boots.

I think if you're going to wear leggings you need to pay for good quality ones that are thick, high waisted and smooth. I buy Lovall everyday leggings which are a thick viscose with a large amount of elastane, completely opaque and well cut. They are super flattering and I am fortunate I have decent slim legs. I always wear a long dress or top over so no bum on show.

It's not a high one, that's for sure.

I think you need to give a bit more info, there's so many variables here. What sort of leggings, what sort of boots?
For all we know you're thinking flesh coloured leggings that go see through and make your legs look like sausages, you could be of an ahem very large build, and what style of boots?

I dont think leggings are frumpy as such.... just unimaginative!
So great for gym, underneath other stuff or lazy days, they just kinda boring.
and 'boots' could mean any style, so who knows!?

I will be swerving the stuffed sausage look. Midnight plum and Forest from Lovall look promising. Thanks
