Wand? Tong? Iron? Your favourite for styling loose curls/waves?

I have a shoulder-length bob and would like a bit of a messy wavey / loose curly look that the above tools give you but not sure which to go for! Which one do you find easiest / has the best results?

I've tried everything and I get best results from a wand, and running fingers through after my hair has cooled down.

Remington curl revolution. Takes a bit of practise, but it curls well and they drop to lovely waves that last all day. I haven't managed to achieve the same with tongs or wands, and I have tried many!

I'm currently loving my mermaid waver, which is kind of like a much bigger crimper. Obviously, only good if you want mermaid curls!
