Embracing natural nails

Not had any gels or acrylics since July & I'm really trying to get my natural nails to a healthy state!
We go away in 2 weeks. I'm trying not to cave & go to a salon.
What do you natural nail ladies do with your nails when you go on holiday?

OK kind of my favourite subject.

I use Dior nail glow, which just sort of fades and you can top up rather than have to take it off on holiday.
I do take it off and restart and file every 2 weeks.

I have heard the formula has changed since I last bought it, I'm coming to the end of mine so am considering the Essie version.

I also like an Essie nude, i usemademoiselle, which is a pale pink toned nude but matches my skin tone. I can get about a week put of a pale nude. And 5 days out of a colour.
I like essie or rimmel best for varnishes.

I oil my nails every day with apricot oil and use the chemistry brand extreme hydration concentrate. I have really dry skin and my hands can look OLD. But this keeps them more in line with my real age. I believe these also mean I can grow my natural nails out to a decent length.

I also buff them with a leather buff and about once a month will use supernail buffing cream (from amazon) which is like a paste to clear any ridges. Great on toenails too. I used to buy the Leighton denny version which was pretty expensive but this is just as good.

I think I've said also too many times but you get the gist...

Have a great holiday

Massage a tiny amount of Vaseline into your nails at bedtime. You will see results the next day and after a week they will be fabulous. Strong but supple.

Make sure you file them regularly to emote jagged edges.

Dior Nail Glow is a nice clear polish with a hint of pink that makes natural nails look that bit more groomed.

I use Dior glow when on a break from gels. Like your natural nails, but better...
