Mani and pedi expectations

I recently had a biab “manicure” and a gel “pedicure.”

There was no water involved at all, so no soaking of fingers or feet, no foot exfoliation or scraping at all, just the gel on the nails and trimmed/filed. Same with fingernails.

I paid £60 for the privilege. Am I going mad? Isn’t the service I paid £60 for just a polish? I specifically booked a manicure and pedicure, not a polish.

At mine that is just called file and gel. It's a different service to a full pedicure... Maybe they misunderstood. That sounds disappointing if not what you were expecting.
