Stackers jewellery boxes

Does anyone have one of these? I had a look at them in John Lewis the other day and one of the larger combos (4 or 5 layers) would fit all my stuff. I just don’t know if the ‘trays rather than drawers’ thing will be irritating.

Does anyone have one? Or know of anything with similar capacity around the £100 mark?

I looked at them, thought they were a bit pricy so bought this:

I have these- the large one, 4 layers.

I really like it. I started with 2 layers and expanded when I got some more jewellery. I also like the larger ones for watches/larger statement pieces.

The layers don't worry me too much, rather than drawers. And it looks lovely.

DD had one from her Aunt as a 21st birthday gift. She loves it, has added to it herself. It looks lovely and is nice quality.

eurochick · 07/10/2024 12:02

I have one. The trays work well.

BarbieKew · 07/10/2024 12:05

Do any of you have the white one? Ideally I’d have loved dark green (bedroom is white and green) but I noticed in JL some colours have nicer textures than others - they didn’t have white, in fact they didn’t have any 4 layer ones. I was a bit confused by all the options!

@Ilovemyshed seen all the Songmics ones on Amazon too. Are they as nice quality as the Stackers (which are also on Amazon)

I have Taupe coloured layers.

If you look at their website, you can see there are actually some drawer options as well as separate layers. If I need more, I might try them out.

(I also have a couple of bags of theirs and they're really great quality. I highly recommend Stackers.)

I have brown, real leather. I have had it for about a decade. It's worth noting that I think a lot of them are pretend leather now, so I don't know if that will effect the longevity. I don't mind the trays (I like being able to see it all at once) but I have a dressing table so I can spread them out if required.

LoobyDoop2 · 07/10/2024 14:11

I have mink with a pale grey lining. If you look on their website they’ve got a wider range of colours and options than on JL or Amazon.

AllAboutNiamh · 07/10/2024 14:16

I have Stackers. I think they’re brilliant. I also have a medium travel case which is so handy.

BarbieKew · 07/10/2024 15:37

Thanks all, this has given me the confidence to order one. Just need to decide on colour and size (I assume it’s just the height that differs)

I think there are two different physical sizes of box, as well as the heights of the layers, from what I have seen in John Lewis. One is approx A4 size, a bit smaller, and the other is maybe A5 size I think.

LoobyDoop2 · 07/10/2024 15:58

I have one that’s approx A5 that I think is “classic” and one smaller that’s a “mini”.

vipersnest1 · 07/10/2024 16:16

I have Stackers and recommend you think ahead a little bit, @BarbieKew.
I originally bought two layers in a duck egg colour years ago, but then inherited some jewellery from my mother and needed another layer. The colour of the original layers was no longer available so I had to choose a complimentary colour.

Yes, this is why I thought it was a good option. I have jewellery all over - in drawers, boxes, an earring case, another mini drawer, necklaces hanging up. I just want it all together in one place, so reckon I’ll get a five layer box and heaven forbid it doesn’t all fit I’ll take it as a sign to get rid of some.

I wear about 10% of it regularly, the rest is either sentimental or for occasions like weddings. Really need a good audit but the bigger the better, right!

I was bought a Stackers jewellery box years ago in dark purple. I thin bought a couple more layers. I absolutely love it; all my jewellery is in it and it is still in very good condition.

Isabelle70 · 07/10/2024 17:39

I had a couple of bright pink stacker trays with an open top box and then upgraded one Christmas to the mirrored trays. I have a stack of 4 of them now.
One of the trays didn't have earring/ring holders so I purchased a cheap velvet ring tray from Amazon, removed the parts I wanted and fitted it into my stacker!

RueRue · 07/10/2024 18:36

I have one and absolutely love it. Also highly rate their travel one (the hard case), its such a clever design and my necklaces will never be tangled again! I did also see they have a cable tidy for travelling that I'm tempted by. I think the quality is amazing and makes it worth the price

Shufflebumnessie · 07/10/2024 18:54

I bought one about 4 years ago and love it. Initially I bought the classic size in oatmeal with 3 layers. Over the years I've added 2 more layers (I don't have much jewellery but I find some of the layers great for storing trinkets etc).
I also have a travel case, which is fab.
I bought mine direct from Stackers around Black Friday when they had an offer on.
The fact it's not draws is what appeals to ne. I can lift the whole section and see everything, nothing gets pushed to the back of the drawer and out of sight!

DGPP · 07/10/2024 19:13

Yes and I love mine

LizzieLazzie · 07/10/2024 19:17

I’ve had one for 20 years which is now looking a bit scruffy so I’ve bought a replacement 4 stack in the pebble colour. Very pleased with it. I keep my most worn jewellery in the top stack so you just lift the lid to access it.

Omg - this is me. I got the duck egg colour too, and can’t find it in store. I can’t bear the thought of a second colour and not matching exactly.

So now I’m considering getting a new jewellery storage system. So irritating, given Stackers was meant to be future proof.

BirthdayRainbow · 07/10/2024 20:43

I've got the top one only and have had for years. Noticed today it's looking a bit tatty.

HiThereBatFace · 07/10/2024 20:43

I have two of the oyster white leather ones, 3 layers in each and they're side by side. They were quite an outlay at about £350 in total (the top layer of each one was £95 alone) but worth it m
So if you can splurge a bit, go leather

CrushingOnRubies · 07/10/2024 21:04

I have a large version. I love it. And I like the option that I can add layers.

Got it as a birthday present almost 10 years ago and it's still in very good condition even with regular use

I also have the necklace/ earring stand
