Shrunk Viscose Despair

Another beautiful M&S top to be taken back, coming back as a crop top from the line dry after cool hand wash in bloody expensive Persil for delicates.

I absolutely loved that top and would rebuy and dry clean, if I knew that dry cleaning would not shrink it. Does dry cleaning shrink viscose?

Have you ironed it? You need to iron viscose back into its shape.

What MrsP said. Reshape it while damp then iron out on low setting.

Ironed with steam and steamed it after. It works for blouse type fabrics but this is a knit, beyond saving. Still, would appreciate an answer on dry cleaning option if anyone knows, please.
