It says designed to seamlessly glide over different terrains. I can imagine seamlessly falling over and getting mud up the gappy bit in the middle.

Try being a size 8.5. I've been looking for black leather knee high boots for years. This is what Asos had in my size last year.

Do you know if they come up wide though? So often if I find some to fit my feet the shaft is so wide I could fit my arm down there too! I think a lot of manufacturers seem to think that if you have large feet your legs must be like tree trunks!

Well they do seem to size right up in all directions, as if they can't quite believe people can have feet that big!
