Please can you suggest a lovely gift set for a fashionista turning 50? perfume, lipsticks, soaps etc certainly not Baylis or other such pharmacy buys please. On a Very limited budget of about £50, not sure that is luxury but you never know Smile

Jo Malone do some gift sets with miniatures for around £50? Very well received by me last Christmas!

Don’t attempt a mixture! Try these:

Celine Discovery Set This is gorgeous. And pretty good value.

Perfumer H candle. Even people who don’t care about ‘candles’ would love one of these.

Gucci lipstick Breathtaking. Choose neutral or colourless.

Hermes lip oil Really wonderful.

All of the above are properly luxurious - and very good products.

Alternatively, if she’s fashionably dressed in socks and loafers ,or socks and clogs, or socks and ankle boots, she might thank you for some of the best socks anywhere. (I would certainly have appreciated any of these for my 50th birthday):

Drakes socks

Margaret Howell socks Not the very short ankle versions.

I'd buy her a beauty box from glossybox, look fantastic or OK beauty

Rituals bath/body stuff is nice and they do gift sets within your budget.

ANagsHead · 04/10/2024 15:12

Are those really ‘luxury’ products, though,@WYorkshireRose? ‘Nice’ isn’t quite the same.

Well no, but "luxury" and "gift set" don't really go together for a maximum of £50. If OP wants a gift set it's about as close as she's going to get.

All you people are so good! so many great ideas, i wasn't expecting so many quick replies so only just returned to the thread. Im now going through them to see what i can get. I might have to increase my budget a little. Thanks so much.

Le Labo shampoos and conditioners (particularly the Hinoki range)- Just slightly over your budget but Liberties has 15% off online so you might get lucky.
