Eye cream recommendations

I’ve just discovered that the eye cream I’ve used for years has been discontinued (Benefit It’s Potent).

This has given me the kick up the bum I need to invest in a new one. Can anyone recommend a really good eye cream for dark circles (the skin around the corners of my eyes is so thin) and the very beginnings of some fine lines underneath the eye? Budget not really a problem - I just need it to work!

I read somewhere that eye cream is just normal moisturiser in small tube that cost twice as much

RenoSweeney · 04/10/2024 19:28

Possibly true but I’d still like a new one.

The no.7 serum in the silver tube. I've tried loads of more expensive ones but this is the best.

It does have different ingredients depending on what you want it to do. It would also have to avoid all the keep away from eyes ingredients.

I love Clinique all about eyes rich. I get swollen eyelids that become sore and this is the only thing I can use, even E45 stings.

I hope they never stop making it 😬

Sunday Riley autocorrect. It's instantly brightening and I love it. I got it in a beauty box thing then was loathe to pay the full price (£60!). But lots of people sell them unopened/sealed on Vinted for less.

The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG - yes, that is its silly long name! 😂

No7 Future Renew is very good.

I'll be honest I used to spend a lot of money on eye creams until recently, in a pinch I bought the Nivea q10 in the supermarket shop as I'd ran out of my usual. I quite like it. I'll be going back to my regular laura mercier as it's a nice luxury but if you want a budget one the Nivea is amazing!

Clinique All about eyes

An update - I bought Filorga Time Filler Eyes and I love it. It brightens the dark circles and that little line I was worried about seems to be fading. It also smells really nice. Thanks again for all the recommendations!
