The W is waist not width!

These days a size 8 usually has about a 26-27" waist. A size 10 is usually around a 28" waist. The leg lengths given are on the long side, too. I think a 34" leg is normally harder to find and a 32" leg is "long".

I'm guessing this is a designer brand due to the small sizing and longer length legs?

All I know is that I am a size 12 and a 29 inch waist.

A 30 inch leg is normal leg, 28 is short and 32 is long.

I think 24/25" waist is now more of a UK 6 or perhaps even a 4, depending on the brand obviously.

I think the style of jeans affects where the waist band sits. Waist on a low rise jean is across the hips and high waist is on the true waist
