Winter boots / shoes

Hello, I need some winter shoes. And some inspiration!

What boots to wear with straight jeans? I’m lost on how to style boots and jeans now I no longer have skinnies. I’ve worn shorts and sliders of varying varieties all summer.

in fact I need boots and trainers and some smart ish shoes for work. Loafers ?

Im a short stocky middle aged mum. But also quite like to be slightly trendy. But live in a rural village and have a horsey lifestyle and I’ve forgotten how to dress for anything other than school run or ponies.

please help me look acceptable for a day in the office or a trip to town. I’m quite casual. Wear jeans. Mostly straight cut.

I’m rural too and have been seeing lots of people wearing rolled up jeans over Chelsea boots. Even wider leg jeans look really good like this.

The same approach would work with desert and combat boots too.

Ooh thank you. I have my eye on some ox blood red dr marten Chelsea boots. So that might work. Nice to think I’m not too wide of the mark 😬
