Japanese Head Spa

One of my absolute favourite things is to be given a head massage and I do go fairly often for this.

However, I'm seeing Japanese head spa treatments all over Instagram and they look like heaven.

Unfortunately, I did go for one a few months again with someone who had just started doing them and it wasn't a very enjoyable experience. Just very unco-ordinated, random, and basic. The very opposite of relaxing, to be honest. As I say, she was very new to it and I'm sure she's improving all the time.

But I'm wondering if anyone has been to someone more established and can give an honest review/recommendation.

There's one in Manchester which appeals, but she's booked up months in advance and keep forgetting to check in when she reopens her appointments each month!

I'm in the West of Scotland, so somewhere round there would be ideal, but for a really lovely experience I would be prepared to take a little break away.

Thanks
