Tinting your eyelashes yourself

Anyone do this?

What product do you use / recommend?

I do it, and it’s such a doddle I can’t believe I ever paid.

Julienne eyebrow and eyelash tint from Amazon.
Bottle of hydrogen peroxide, also from Amazon.
Vaseline to stop smudges.
Takes 15 minutes.

I just buy those eyelash/brow tints from Boots/Superdrug. So easy.

Get some cotton wool pads to stick under your lower lashes.

A kit sounds ideal, any recommendations for a particular one @Olika ?

How do you stop it from getting in your eyes/stinging like fuck?! I do my eyebrows but whenever I've tried to do my eyelashes I am crying within seconds.

I have used Refectocil tint but it took me ages as I had to do one eye at a time as you had to keep them closed. If I tried again I would try and persuade Dd to help me, once she had watched some you tube videos 😄

It’s always stung at a salon but doesn’t at all at home.

I get the Eylure one from Boots/Superdrug and bought small mascara brushes from Amazon. I apply it like a mascara eyes open and then wait for 15min. Take some wet cotton wool pads and fold it and wipe off the most between the fold. Then rinse off the rest.
