Flattering trousers for c section pouch?

I am really self conscious of my post c-section pouch. I’m 19 months postpartum and the rest of my body has pretty much gone back to how it was pre baby (with the exception of my hips and thighs being a bit wider than they were before) apart from my lower stomach/abdomen.

I am tall (just under 6ft) and have a small bust and have always been quite straight up and down. I find that my c-section pouch is so prominent in comparison to the rest of my upper abdomen/torso and I feel like all of my jeans and trousers draw attention to it.

I’m starting a new job soon where I get to wear my own clothes (after wearing an NHS uniform for years!) and I’m in a bit of a flap. My go to option used to be high waisted jeans or trousers with a top tucked in or jumper that sat at the waist. Now I feel embarrassed as I always look bloated and feel like my tummy sticks out so much. I don’t want to have to wear long jumpers and leggings every day but I feel like that’s my only way to hide it.

Can anyone recommend a style of trousers that might be flattering?
