Light weight walking boots?

I’m trying to find some lightweight walking boots mainly for the support around the ankle, I just can’t wear big clumpy ones as I find them hard to walk in. They’re not for big long walks just small rural walks but looking for grip and ankle support. Anyone got any ideas? Thank you.

Have a look at Ariat Tell-U-Ride (or terrain) boots. Although made as a riding boot, they are extremely comfortable to walk in. I have them for both riding and walking, and they often go on 1st thing in the morning and don't come off until the evening.

They're not cheap, but they are long lasting (my current pair is 7 years old and only now just starting to wear out).

@Cigarettesandgeraniums I have these www.sportsdirect.com/gelert-leather-boot-junior-walking-boots-094092 and find them really light and waterproof plus they don't look too clumpy so I can get away wearing them without looking like I'm off for a hike.
