Waterproof but warm coat

DD needs a coat for walking to uni in. She’s only short, so long ones wouldn’t be right on her. Needs to be waterproof so she not soaked by the time she gets there, but warmer than just a mac. She doesn’t really like the mountain climbing/hiking styles and would like something pretty, please.

Thanks for the help!

Those are lovely, but the prices go quite high 😬 I’m probably going to have to buy both daughters one too

Not being cheeky, but surely by university age your DD should be buying, or at least choosing, her own jacket? Does she not have an opinion on what she wants? At that stage I was wearing jackets from New Look or Topshop. Try River Island and Superdry.

She can’t find one thats suitable, and doesn’t know where to look for a decent one. I’d send ideas to her to look, but I’ll pay for it. She’s not at all interested in shopping or fashion so doesn’t care about brand and can’t be bothered looking as she genuinely doesn’t have an opinion or care as long as it isn’t a mountain jacket. I don’t know whether rainproof is decent enough or if it has to be fully waterproof to be out walking in, hence asking here for ideas.
