I’m looking to replace my old faithful DM Leonore boots which have been going strong with almost daily wear (with the exception of a few warm weeks in the summer!) for two years. Outside they still look fairly fine but inside the fur lining has all worn so they’re just not as comfy. I could go for another pair of the same but fancy something a bit different.
In an ideal world they would be:
Ankle length
Pull on
Chunky but in a utility kind of way rather than ‘fashion’ IFSWIM
Wide in the toe box
Brown/dark tan
Waterproof (leather optimal)
Able to withstand a decent walk of a few miles or more
Dark-soled
I quite like the look of Hey Dude Moccasin-style boots but the light soles really put me off as we live on a lane that is pure mud 75% of the year.
I don’t hate these Bareback ones either, they just don’t get me exited.
