Any hairdressers here? I've bleached my hair orange!

Hello,

Have been highlighting hair at home for years however don't think I left the bleach on long enough this time. I'll attach photos.

Does anyone think this is salvageable? Will a toner be enough to lift/neutralise or do I need a darker box dye

I’m not a hairdresser maybe this will bump it for you and someone will respond. Personally I don’t think it looks bad at all and I have genuinely had orange hair 😩 A toner should fix it surely?

I'm not a hairdresser either and it looks pretty good to me - maybe the orange isn't so obvious in the photographs?

It looks good, not orange as far as I can see.....

Your hair looks really nice! Perhaps try a blue shampoo if you feel it is too orange

You are right, you didn't leave the bleach on long enough.
Either highlight it again and wait until it lifts to pale yellow
Or lowlight it with a cool darker colour.
Toner cant lift
If you do highlight it again, use a violet toner afterwards

You're all very kind it doesn't look dissimilar to the pictures in real life but it's definitely very warm/nearly orange

I did chuck a purple shampoo on when I took the foils out and panicked but I think blue would be a better option?

I've gone out and got a L'Oréal toner in Pearly Boots & the Shrine drops in champagne. Will give either of these a go tonight🫣

Blue shampoo with bring out the ash. I've had to stop with purple as it warms mine up

It's not too bad, I think a toner is all you need, once the roots grow a bit the slight orange root will look more blended.
