Help! Jacket and accessories for navy jumpsuit

I’m going to a wedding in a couple of weeks and have bought this jumpsuit (size 16) to wear -
Phase Eight Jumpsuit

I hate my arms, hate everything, so really want a jacket/blazer to go with it but every cream jacket I try on makes me feel enormous. So I’m thinking about maybe a sharply tailored navy blazer.

Given that I would be all in navy, to add some interest I thought maybe these gold shoes and matching bag Gold sparkly shoes

Does anybody think this will look ok (navy with navy and gold accessories)? Any suggestions for blazers?

I am 49 and will be seeing old work colleagues I haven’t seen for years. I am twice the size I was and feeling pretty crap about myself so don’t want to embarrass myself or look ridiculous. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Although, truthfully, you might have been better off with a jumpsuit (or whatever) in a more seasonal fabric so you didn’t have to spend twice as much again on outerwear.

I have just seen this on the rack and looks much more expensive than it is. Think it might do the trick.

I’m not sure the cutting the body in half effect will be terribly flattering. Something longer will look more sleek.
