I'm taking a trip to the Mid East and need something conservative. Finding it hard to come upon long sleeve maxi dresses and happened upon this one. Just looking for second opinions :) thx

That's why many ex pat women may wear shorts or PJs or whatever underneath them depending on the style of the abaya. Saudi women will wear whatever suits the destination they are going to eg if a woman only event then they will likely be very dressed up, if it is the gym or health club then more appropriate. I was at a Saudi wedding one time and the fashions were amazing as well as the jewellery of course. Abayas vary so much and depend on how conservative a family is. That's why I was asking @BlueBirdFly77 what event she was looking for dresses for. It also depends on how much you want to blend in as it were. While there is no official requirement for an abaya then wearing a dress like in the OP will attract attention which is not necessarily something you want. It is all about the where and the when and the who.
