Hi, hoping a hairdresser or someone knowledgeable can help. I haven't dyed my light brown hair for years, and used to have highlights which I stopped as they were damaging my hair. I want to start dying my hair again, but a darker brown. Question is.... is dark hair dye still damaging? And if so, are some much less damaging than others?
