Impossible to find 28C bras!

Can anyone please help me find bras for my teen!
We did measure at home and it looks like she is 28C. I cannot find this size anywhere!
Have looked online at so many shops. Needs to be basic and underwired. Other than that no fussy requirements

Could you try a 30B? It'll be a very similar fit.

Branleuse · 25/09/2024 23:24

Why does it need wires?
I think while she has such a small frame, id go for a 30b instead

dementedpixie · 25/09/2024 23:30

Try boux avenue online

PinkDreamer · 25/09/2024 23:31

I’m a 28c too and wear a 30b from M&S. had no look finding my actual size but 30b is the sister size to 28c

Thetigerdrankmywine · 31/10/2024 08:20

I'm having similar trouble with dd.
Tried her in one of my old la senza bras cos I know they're small. It was 32e padded and not a million miles off. I must have only worn it when I wanted to poke someone's eye out.
Tried a 30f on her too and by gradual process of elimination put her at 28e. But manufacturers still work on the premise that everyone is a wide band and small cup, so I'm fairly stuck.
I'm not convinced by sister sizes, because they just don't fit right. My 30ffs fit me much better than 32e, because the band is too big and cup slightly out.

SapphireOpal · 31/10/2024 08:24

Could you try a 30 back in Boux Avenue? They tend to run quite small in the back

dementedpixie · 31/10/2024 08:25

30FF is not a sister size of 32E; you'd need 32F.

If you don't have much padding sometimes the bigger band feels more comfortable whereas if you are a bit squidgy a tighter band can be more comfortable. I like a tighter band so I wear a 36 back when I measure 37 inches.

Thetigerdrankmywine · 31/10/2024 09:00

In my drawer I have: 32e, 32f, 32ff, 30f, 30ff and a random 32d. 30 is definitely the most comfortable. But I'm having a similar problem to teenage dd- my perimenopausal boobs are getting bigger in the cup, which I did not expect at all. Thought breastfeeding all this years ago had killed them off.

3WildOnes · 31/10/2024 09:15

La sensation and some other shops add four inches on to their band sizes so a 32C is actually a 28 back.

3WildOnes · 31/10/2024 09:16

I wouldn't buy underwired. I never do. It's not necessary when you have a small bust.

3WildOnes · 31/10/2024 09:17

La senza not sensation!

She's not bothered about wired or unwired, but she definitely needs some support and i want her in bras that fit properly, otherwise there's no point. It's just so frustrating. Teen bras are all 30A or B. Which means wide ban and barely anywhere for boobs to go. None of them seem to go smaller. But if I'm nearly 6 foot and a 30 back, how the bloody hell is a slight 13 yr old?!

3WildOnes · 31/10/2024 09:36

La senza add four inches to bands. 32C will fit her fine.

Fevertreelover · 31/10/2024 09:45

Another vote for avoiding underwire at that size. I also did a quick google search and found a loads at 28c🤷‍♂️

learieonthewildmoor · 31/10/2024 15:00

Miss Mary of Sweden lets you order a bra, choosing your cup and band size. I have found the bands run small and it’s best to order one size larger. You can choose unwired or wired, and they have a range of cotton bras which are really long wearing.
Have a look online.

MiddleAgedDread · 31/10/2024 15:07

They're not cheap but they do exist Finally, the Perfect Petite Bra
There's some on Amazon too.

Thetigerdrankmywine · 31/10/2024 15:33

I've been experimenting. Don't want to spend much because I'm sure she'll grow.

Tried an asda 30b non wired. Nowhere near. She still had boob behind the cup, even though I've taught her to scoop. The 30 band is smaller than my branded 30 bands though, so I reckon an asda 30 c or d might do it.

TheDearOtter · 31/10/2024 15:48

I got one the other day from M and S - they have a really good range in there!

soberfabulous · 31/10/2024 17:13

Bravissimo will have them. It's not just bigger bras.

VladsPants · 31/10/2024 17:20

Have you looked on Vinted?

I was going to suggest the same. I’m a 28 band and that’s where I go.

Msmoonpie · 31/10/2024 17:33

28c and 28d are next to non existent.

Ive had to give up and now only wear bralets.
