Uniqlo sizing experience

Hi all!

I've been looking at Uniqlo trousers lately but I'm not sure of the sizing. There is a chart, but I can't be too certain it's accurate, since I've never ordered on there before.

According to their chart, i'd fit into an L. For reference I'm 165cm tall and ~57kg but quite wide in my abdominal area, so buying trousers only has been quite tricky. (waist measures around 80cm but I've fit into pants that where supposedly 70cm wide, or some others that were an S size) And returning is just not an option since it's way too expensive to send a parcel overseas from my country.

I guess my predicament comes from the fact that this particular pair of pants has 40% Elastomultiester, so that means they're quite strechy, right? What do you recommend?

Well I have a fair few items of Uniqlo clothes. I am just under 5 ft 4 and 10 stone 8 pounds pear shaped. I get a large for smart ankle trousers (they are full length on me) and a medium for tops and the more stretchy trousers. Hope that helps.

I'm 160cm and 58kg and I wear a M in uniqlo trousers.

This isn't very helpful but I've found Uniqlo sizes ENOURMOUS recently...I'm 5'2 and a large 12 but I've bought a couple of size small tops that are still quite oversized!

Their website has the interactive sizer that might help you? I’m a 14-16 and wear XL in Uniqlo trousers.

I'm 168cm and around 58 kg... usually get a M and sometimes a S as my waist is quite slim.(I'm a 10 in NEXT)

I also would like the answer to this! Have their clothes got smaller recently? Because I used to be a M (when I was a few lbs bigger) and some of the M clothes are loose - but their new size guide tells me L. Are things very small waisted as compared to hips?

I think it depends on the item - but their S in trousers is usually a bit smaller than an S in H&M for example. I'm usually an 8-10 in most brands, 55kg 166 tall, and while I can wear a Uniqlo S, I'd prefer them to be M for comfort.

I would think you'd be ok in an M.

Their jeans seem to come up big though!

Thank you so much for the replies everyone! I ended up ordering an M size, we'll see how they fit.
