Seasalt Janelle coat - sizing question

spiggydit · 25/09/2024 11:40

I've crumbled and want to be buying a Seasalt Janelle raincoat for AW24.

I quite like coats to be on the long side so prevaricating between a Tall or Regular. I'm around 5ft 5ins and a very average 12/14.

How much longer is the Tall version compared to Regular?

I'm 5'10" and long-limbed, and the tall version is almost too long in the arms. Unless you have very (very!) long limbs I'd go with the regular size.

Also 5'10 with long limbs, and I find Seasalt generous in both length and sizing.

Many thanks!

Unfortunately no Regular size available (in any size) for the colour I want so will need to wait for some to come back into stock

I'm 5'5" with a regular and it is well below my knees

I am 5,10 and I never have to buy tall with seasalt. I always have to size down too as their sizing is generous. Worth looking on M and S and Next as they sell Seasalt.

I’m 5’7 and have a regular and really wouldn’t want it any longer.

Hopperinhawkins · 25/09/2024 16:47

Voice of dissent here (sorry!), I just bought the tall and it's not long enough in the arms and waist sits too high - admittedly I am tall - but I have sadly returned.

I ordered the Tall in 12 and found the sizing fine. The sleeves weren't too long either but maybe I'm unusually long armed for my size
