Winter SPF

If you run early mornings around 7am, do you bother with SPF before running at this time of year? I use Tret and SPF every day but just wondering if I can leave it till I go to work a couple of hours later now it’s autumn as running with SPF on is horrible and I sweat buckets whatever the weather.

I'd be interested to know too, my face gets too shiny if I do moisturiser and SPF in the morning at the same time so I tend to do school run without it (not energetic enough for running in the morning...) and then SPF on before I go properly out usually around lunchtime.

I don't bother with SPF once we get into late Autumn. I'm only outdoors 20mins a day max. I figure the vitamin D is more beneficial than the risk of sun damage at that point.
From March to October I use Altruist factor 50

You don’t make vit d in this country from oct to March. The UVB isn’t strong enough.

I wouldn’t wear it but I’m in front of a VDU all day. I’ve been wearing it for 25 years and I’m too deep to back out now 🤪

I don't bother. I put it on after a shower once I get home. I don't use tret though.

I don’t bother

Ok thank you. I just worry that with the tretinoin at night, running without spf even early morning, will make my skin look older. Perhaps i should try a basic moisturiser with SPF and see if that feels better.
