Tights and trainers

I wear a lot of dresses and jackets, and as we're heading into tights weather I'm thinking of trainers. Google tells me that tights with trainers are a thing, but are they? And do they need to be black trainers?

I need to order ASAP as I have a first date on Saturday!

Whether they are “a thing” or not according to Google is not quite relevant. In spite how things appear, it still doesn’t quite rule the world. I’m a regular dress wearer, l love my dresses.

Trainers are practical and comfortable and combine well with tights. Unless you are going to a real chic restaurant, go for it.

Colour is down to your own choice. I don’t think one is more “ a thing” than the other.

I think it depends on the tights. Thick coloured tights yes, tan 20 dernier definitely not. All my trainers fit with socks so "work tights" would make them too big.
