Help with finding a dress please

There’s a company that pops up on Facebook with the most beautiful dresses. I really want some, but I think they are probably made by children in sweat shops, plus I don’t really want to add my credit card details to some random Facebook page.
Has anyone seen anything similar, that is a similar budget (cheaper the better sadly)

Well I’m not clicking so don’t know how much that dress might be. But I wonder if you’ve been swayed by the persuasive imagery? It’s not going to look the same in Tesco on a Saturday morning. And you can’t wear it to someone else’s wedding, and it would look odd any time in the next seven or eight months in the UK.

i agree, it’s definitely got persuasive imagery to sell it, but it’s cheap and Soooo pretty.
it was more for festivals and floating around in.
Would be teamed with boots and cardi for when it’s colder.

Ok, I had a look. That dress is about £40? For all that material?

The fabric will be thinner than the cheapest loo roll. And it will probably shrink oddly in the wash …

Surely the bottom of that dress is going to get extremely muddy? I wouldn't wear it standing in the middle of a boggy field.

I follow a company called linen naive on insta and bought a dress from them last year, I was a bit worried about how good the quality would be but it's really great. I bought a wool winter dress but they do have some lovely stuff like the picture you've shared, might be worth a look x

And what you save on the dress, you’d spend on thermal long johns and several layers of vests …

(I wore cashmere and silk to my last festival. And a big puffy coat. Middle of summer. I was freezing.)

The chances are it's a stolen image and the dress you receive,if any, is nothing like that picture

Nor would I, It’ll be for the beautifully sunny and dry festivals (crosses fingers hopefully!)

i hear that, I have a fabulous woollen poncho for when it’s cold, and many blankets for wrapping around me :)

Sorry can't help with alternative, but def don't order this dress! Reverse image search shows this boutique owner on Facebook did buy it, and pictured is what she received!
