Opinions on these boots please

Exactly that , please opinions on these boots there from Holland cooper £249 however another shop have them at £200

mixex opinions from people in my life some say they look good and others say look like work boots ?
I’m really torn whether to get them or not.

I don’t like them. Especially at that price.

They look like if Primark did Timberlands.

I like chunky boots.

But not those.

They are like a mash up between proper hiking / work / outdoor boots trying to pretend they are fashionable, and fashion boots that are too ‘not anything’ to really work.

They look like hiking boots to me, not a look I'd personally go for.

The F&F are much nicer (although I did think that stood for Florence & Fred until I opened the photo and wondered how your budget had varied so much!). I have a similar pair but they're DMs, and they're very useful boots.

I like the f&f. They are very similar to Bundstones, which I love and have worn for about 30 years.

I guess I’m in the minority as I prefer the first ones as they are more interesting! Yes they look a bit like work boots but isn’t that the idea? The gold bits make it obvious they’re not actually work boots.

I don't really like either. The first look as a PP says like Primark Timberlands. The second are fine because they're totally generic in style and available everywhere for a much lower cost. I've had some from office for getting on for 4 years and they are still in perfect nick.

The Boudicas will last you forever and are so comfy. Live in mine.
The HC are not nice... you could try HC Camden's which look much nicer IMO
