Wide leg linen trousers and trainers?

I've realised my wide leg trousers are a million times more comfortable than jeans but it will soon follow too cold for them! So what's a comfy alternative and then what shoes with them??

Wide leg jeans and Uggs! Beware of staining them in the rain though..

I do wear jeans, but if I'm wanting pure comfort, joggers/leggins - worth shopping around to get something a bit more stylish if you might wear to work/social. Happy to still wear my trainers with them.

Are the wide leg jogger side stripe ones out of fashion? Or could I try those?

I'm too fat for leggings.

M&S do a great range of wide leg trousers in thick jersey material. Lots of different colours - no side stripe!

I like the side stripe jogger vibe and ME+EM which I perceive as trendy, still have them. Their travel tailoring range should also be comfy.
Or wide leg cords - depending on brand you can get very soft and toasty ones.

M&S wide leg cords are soft & easy to wear. I also agree with the M&S jersey trousers. I have a pair of the Navy crepe elasticated waist ones also that are a really good shape. For ultimate comfort though a some Cashmere wide legs feel wonderful. I have an ancient set from Tesco's that still come out every year.

The m and a trousers are so bloody long, you couldn't wear them in the rain. I'm 1.7m and they're way too long.

Wide leg trousers and trainers still. I wear trainers all year. Wide leg trousers of all fabrics exist.

Wide leg cords with comfortable ankle boots (I feel like chunky soles are no longer fashionable but they are definitely better on a cold, wet day).

Also, cropped wide lleg trousers with a boot. I worse some last year with my DMs.
