Rains Long Jacket

Does anyone have a Rains coat?

Any feedback on size/fit/quality/look? Especially on the long jacket. Am looking at khaki or black.

I think the short jacket looks nicer but the long is more practical!

DD has one and loves it. Hers is the long belted one. I think they come up a bit small.

Ha! I’ve found that they come up long (but I’m only 5’5!). I went for the mid thigh length one, think it is the jacket rather than the long jacket. Covers to mid thigh which is perfect for me; I walk A LOT, and find longer coats slow my legs down somehow as they catch on the longer fabric with each stride.

It is without doubt worth its weight in gold. I love it. Quality, fit, everything. And roomy enough to get a warm gilet/down jacket underneath easily for when it is colder.

Cannot recommend them highly enough.

I have the long jacket in M. I’m 5’7” and a very standard size 12. I’d say it’s a slightly oversize fit which it’s meant to be. I love everything about it - the hood is great, it’s windproof and obviously waterproof, pockets are good …

I bought a Rains medium length coat, because I wanted a "proper" rain coat that I could use for dog walks but also when I go to work. So I suppose I used it lots.
I can't quite remember when I bought it - probably about 5 years ago.
Sadly it now started leaking (at the shoulder seams where the actual waterproof material seems to have worn thin. I assume from when I wore a backpack or shoulder bag,
I really had hoped that it would last longer.
