John lewis returns after 30 days

Does anyone know if John lewis would accept a sale.return that I bought 40 days ago. I read the guidance that says 30 days but wondered if they may be a little flexible with this ?

No it's 30 days. You won't get a refund. Otherwise everyone would try it on, they are a business not a friend you have borrowed something from

I actually sent something back to JL that was way over the time, and they refunded me. I feel like it's worth a try?

harsh thistoo 😄i am well aware they are a business, it's just so hard to get to the shop as they are not very local and was bought instore.

Even less likely if bought in store, they don't have to refund unless faulty or bought online ( distance selling rules) and there's time limit on that
If you've changed your mind, that's on you not, the store.
