Vinted Refund Help

Looking for a bit of advice.

I bought a item and when it arrived it was the wrong size, and was significantly damaged. No damaged was mentioned on the advertisement.

Seller agrees sizing was wrong but argues no damage was present when sent.

Vinted are asking me to return the item to the sender for a refund, I will be paying this out my own pocket.

My worry/question is - what happens when the seller gets the item back and potentially disputes the item condition? Could the refund be cancelled?

How much was the jtem?

It probably not bother for a low amount, it's too much hassle and some seller are a bit unhinged.

You need to document all this on the refund request with clear photos and then see what happens.

I don't think you can do anything else at the moment.

Also give a review asap as they can block you to avoid bad reviews.

Also it is possible for the seller to pay for the refund, I’ve had this when a supposedly new item stunk of fabric softener, the seller sent me the label.

I had this, although not as bad. I bought size 10 trousers and when they arrived, they were size 10 Short! They were swinging around my calves. No where did they say they were short.

I disputed twice with Vinted but got nowhere. I ended up just reselling as short so I didn't have to pay the postage. I was very cross at the time.

It was a pricey item for me on Vinted. Roughly £15.

Definitely want to return it as its utterly useless and I can't sell on in its condition
