A cheaper alternative to Snag tights?

I’m happy with the quality of Snag 80 denier tights but find the 30 and 50 denier don’t last. I keep my toenails short, but have had two new pairs of Snags go at the toe this week. As they’re about £8 a pair, this is expensive for one wear.

I’m size 18-20 and tall, with long legs. Boots XL 30 denier tights used to be my holy grail until a few years ago but now they’re not long enough in the legs. M & S tights (all of them) roll down at the waist and the Autograph ones aren’t long enough in the legs.

Any recommendations please?

I always wear Primark tights . So good and £3,50!

I have worn my first snags recently, 30 denier, like you. The toe is not strong, after first wear for only a few hours the toe is wearing through. Not good. Have you tried Sainsbury's, Next, Calzedonia? Try www.uktights.com www.thetightspot.com

Drop them both an email and they will recommend. I have also tried Golden Lady, Gipsy, Calzedonia and find them robust!

I started having the same problem with Snag so have moved over to Better Tights now which seem to be doing the trick.

I prefer Better and the advertising is preferable too.

Unfortunately I do think the quality of Snag is slipping. I have some from years ago and I can definitely feel a different between those and newer ones. I've had several issues with recent orders too, where I've been a loyal and happy customer previously for years.

I've not ordered from anywhere else yet but I'm tempted by Better Tights.

I agree with others regarding Snag… quality is now poor… the tights quickly develop holes, falls down and quickly develops bubbles.
